Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: June 12, 2026

Purpose

Cole is intended for lawful, responsible use. This policy explains activity that may lead to rate limits, suspension, termination, or other protective action.

Prohibited activity

  • Illegal activity, fraud, harassment, abuse, or attempts to facilitate real-world harm.
  • Requests to obtain, expose, rotate, or misuse credentials, private keys, service-role keys, webhook secrets, API keys, protected prompts, or internal system instructions.
  • Attempts to bypass authentication, quotas, billing state, route protections, security scanners, or customer portal flows.
  • Automated scraping, spam, denial-of-service activity, or use that degrades service reliability for others.
  • Submitting content that you do not have the right to provide or that violates another person's privacy or rights.
  • Using AI output as a replacement for professional judgment in medical, legal, financial, safety-critical, or emergency contexts.

Enforcement

Cole may block requests, reduce access, suspend accounts, cancel service, or preserve records needed to investigate abuse or comply with legal obligations.

Enforcement decisions may rely on backend-owned account state, quota state, billing state, and security events.
